András Kertész is a distinguished management and communication consultant, executive coach, and cultural diplomacy expert with decades of high impact contributions.
Since 2012, he has helmed his own communications consultancy, which, as of 2022, operates under the name Kertesz Communications Consulting (KCC). The firm seamlessly integrates 25 year of experience with the forward-thinking principles of tomorrow’s corporate structures and omnichannel solutions.
From 2007 to 2012, András served as Chief Executive Management Consultant and Acting Director of Business Development, overseeing communications for the Budapest office of Clifford Chance, one of the world’s leading law firms. During this time, he also dedicated himself to supporting young Hungarian classical musicians, acting as co-chairman and director of the Hungarian Classical Music Foundation between 2005 and 2018.
His commitment to ethical business practices is exemplified by his work as a consultant to the Transparency and Anti-Corruption Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hungary (AmCham) from 2010 to 2012.
András’s first professional calling was opera singing, a field in which he performed nearly 1,000 times between 1998 and 2012 on both Hungarian and international stages. Since 2018, he has been championing the modern spirit of parenthood through the APAIDŐ project, sharing his insights as an author, presenter, and speaker. His podcasts have garnered nearly two million views to date.
Born into an upper-middle-class milieu as a descendant of an old Hungarian Reformed family, András’s heritage is deeply rooted in a legacy of nobility granted in 1677. His family has been committed to the arts, sciences, and civic professions, including medicine, music, law, humanities, and theology.
In all his endeavours, András strives to harmonise classical values with innovative 21st-century solutions. He is an active member of the United Nations Association of Hungary (UNA-H), the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and the Hungarian PR Association.
